Parts Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Application Developer with a focus on React Native to join our team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our primary mobile application used by our over 3,000 delivery drivers. This is a strategic role focused on modernizing our tech stack and ensuring our operational applications are best-in-class.
This role requires hands-on experience building applications that operate reliably in real-world conditions where connectivity is not always guaranteed. A key part of this position involves developing and supporting features such as geolocation services, offline data handling, and synchronization queues that reconnect and update once connectivity is restored.
The ideal candidate has experience:
Integrating geolocation or location-based services into applications
Designing and maintaining offline-first functionality with queued data syncing when the device reconnects
Working with mock APIs and live APIs to test and update UI components during development
Ensuring the UI accurately reflects real-time and queued data states
Candidates who have not worked with offline data synchronization, location services, and API-driven UI updates may find the technical demands of this role challenging. Experience in these areas is highly important for success in this position.
