Sr IT Security Analyst

Each and every team member plays a vital role in our success. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Sr IT Security Analyst.

On-Prem Security Management:

• Monitor and analyze security logs and events from various on-premises systems (servers, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.) to identify and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of on-premises systems and applications.
• Implement and maintain security controls and configurations for on-premises infrastructure, adhering to industry best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Manage and administer security tools and technologies, including firewalls, antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
• Provide technical expertise and support for security-related issues and projects.
• Maintain and patch on premises systems.

Cloud Security Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud configurations and services.
• Assist in the development and implementation of cloud security policies and procedures.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of cloud security best practices and emerging threats.

Incident Response and Security Operations:

• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Analyze security incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure timely and effective security operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and procedures.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Assist in compliance audits and assessments.
• Identify and assess security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
• Help ensure that the company's security posture complies with all relevant regulations.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT security, with a strong focus on on-premises environments.
• Proven experience in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and technologies (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection).
• Experience with security tools and technologies like SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP) are highly desirable.
