Each and every team member plays a vital role in our success. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of E-Commerce Shipping Supervisor.

 

Responsibilities

The E-Commerce Shipping Supervisor'sresponsibilities are helping plan, guide, and direct staff members in an efficient and timely manner to meet customer demands, expectations, deadline, and all administration duties. 

 

  • Taking ownership for achieving department goals; monitoring all daily reports.
  • Ensuring that associate workload is managed appropriately.
  • Ensuring team associates follow proper procedures, and that safety, productivity and quality goals are achieved.
  • Managing employee relations issues, to include coaching, counseling and corrective action.
  • Assisting in the training of new associates.
  • Setting the tone in the department for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintaining excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication.
  • Directs and oversees the Internet process of picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines
  • Assist picking supervisors to help navigate and prioritize orders.
  • Assist the Internet Assistant Supervisor in scheduling, monitoring, training, and discipline of department staff members.
  • Routinely conduct department meetings.
  • Monitor X-Carrier, DST, OOR, and emails frequently to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards
  • Other various duties will be assigned by the department Manager.

Qualifications

 

  • Must be able  to work weekends.  
  • 2-3 year's hands on supervisory experience required.
  • 1-year shipping/receiving experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Read, write, and understand the English language (Spanish is a plus+)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate various materials handling equipment including fork trucks and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
