Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Outside Salesperson will be part of a team of driven team members responsible for the acquisition, retention, and growth of our customers.

  • Make sales calls on installers, fleets, municipalities and car dealerships to sell auto parts, collision parts, lifts, tools, shop equipment and programs
  • Build and maintain productive, long lasting relationships with existing customers, as well as actively pursue new customers
  • “Get the Sale!” -Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals; source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve goals
  • Foster and qualify new sales opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Ride with factory reps in order to gain product knowledge as well as use their relationships to help build yours
  • Provide weekly status reports to management team describing current business conditions, including opportunities and suggestions for improvement. Post daily CMS comments for each sales call with a brief summary of visit or touch.
  • Play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products
  • Research sales competition
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

****This position requires Auto Body/Collision Parts Sales Experience****

  • Prior success selling wholesale auto parts in a highly competitive market
  • Demonstrated history of obtaining new business and retaining current customer base
  • Ability to travel within market territory (minimal overnight travel)
  • Existing customer base is desirable
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening and MVR requirements, where applicable
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to analyze data, develop strategic plans, and improve financial results
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Multilingual, where applicable
