Each and every team member plays a vital role in our success. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office. The Compensation for this position has a range of $20-$21/hr. and is commensurate with experience. Exact rate will be presented at the time of offer

Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to Vice President of Human Resources and others, as needed, including answering phones, managing calendars, completing expense reports, processing bills, filing, and taking meeting notes
    • Proofread and type documents and correspondence produced by department.
    • Maintain human resources files, forms, records, and information
    • Creation and maintenance of team member employment files
    • Develop and maintain reports that assist in making appropriate business decisions. Prepare human resource reports such as experience and exit interview data, time and attendance reports etc.
    • Maintain current, accurate and up to date information on the ADP team member portal/ intranet page
    • Review and adjudicate background check reports as per guidelines
    • Create I9 status reports from dashboard
    • Assist with setting up new human resource department team members with appropriate system access
    • Review and report on referral program payouts
    • Assisting with audits and acquisitions as needed
    • Handle requests and coordinate escalation of issues
    • Perform ad hoc projects as necessary
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
    • Arrive on time and ready to work

Qualifications

    • 1-2 years administrative experience preferred
    • 1-2 years of human resources experience a plus
    • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) preferred
    • Foundational knowledge in Google Suite, ADP Workforce Now, E-Time, iCIMS, Equifax a plus
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
    • Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Ability to operate general office equipment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including above average Excel skills
    • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
    • Interpersonal communication- excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy
    • Ability to take and follow directions, follow up, manage ongoing tasks, and follow through on assignments
    • Ability to work well with others, as part of a team, and independently
    • Dependable/ Reliable
